There are three sites that make up the Annapolis Valley Campus: the Middleton site, the Centre of Geographic Sciences (COGS in Lawrencetown), and the Digby site.
The Middleton site provides a wide range of programs designed to complement the needs of industry in the valley area and throughout Nova Scotia. Our Middleton site offers academic programs in Adult Learning, Information Technology and Health and Human Services, with students coming to us from all over to study such programs as Esthetics. The Middleton site is also home of the Applied Geomatics Research Group AGRG. With research projects totaling over $18 million, NSCC has the highest volume of applied research for community colleges in Canada. Applied research has extensive research expertise in Geomatics, health and life sciences, the environment, aerospace, information and communications technology, renewable energy, agriculture, energy and teaching and learning.
Explore the world of Geomatics at COGS, one of the largest technical trainers of students in the Geomatics field in Canada. Training technicians and technologists in the fields of surveying, mapping, land use planning and related computer programming has earned the campus an international reputation. Get in-depth skills training and enjoy a 95% employment rate after graduation.
The Digby site provides students with On-Line learning, Adult Learning programs, and Customized Training programs.
