”Planning means the scientific, aesthetic, and orderly disposition of land, resources, facilities and services with a view to securing the physical, economic and social efficiency, health and well-being of urban and rural communities”.

Admission requirements

Completion of the GIS Technician Certificate or a Cartography: Digital Mapping Diploma, or equivalent training in an undergraduate degree.

Geographic Information Systems – GIS

GIS or Geographic Information Systems are becoming one of the principal tools in Land Information Technology. Land Information Technologists learn how to use GIS to manage, model and analyze spatial and attribute data.
